The celebrations kick off on September 19 with the opening of a local products fair on Rynok Square at 12:00 PM, featuring goods from Drohobych and nearby regions.
At 3:00 PM, the “Drohobych Salt” festival will showcase the city’s historic salt-making tradition at the Drohobych Saltworks, one of Europe’s oldest operating salt enterprises. The day concludes with a concert by local artists at 6:00 PM on Rynok Square, highlighting regional talent.On September 20, the festivities continue with a youth art exhibition at 2:00 PM in the Drohobych Art Gallery, displaying works by young local artists.
At 5:00 PM, a historical reenactment of medieval Drohobych will take place near the city’s iconic Town Hall, offering a glimpse into the city’s past as a key trading hub in the Kingdom of Galicia–Volhynia.
